HOLLY Willoughby took advantage of her post-watershed telly appearance last night to drop a cheeky swear word while recalling a gross moment with her new pet pup.
The This Morning star, 40, was a guest on The Jonathan Ross Show along with Joanna Lumley, Jamie Dornan and Usain Bolt.
She told how her first morning with Golden Retriever Bailey wasn’t the perfect family occasion she’d envisioned.
Walking downstairs in her dressing gown to check on Bailey in its crate, Holly was greeted by a pungent smell.
“Before I saw her, I could smell her,” she said. “I lifted the flap and I swear to God it was like something out of a horror movie.
“She was covered in her own s**t. She’d gone from white and perfect to just stinky and smelly. I looked and thought ‘if I let you out you’re going to run through and cover the whole house in this.'”
The studio audience groaned as Holly, dressed in a stunning black blazer dress and heels, shared the grim tale.
The presenter also revealed that despite the fringe benefits of being a star, she has always felt her life was not quite complete.
She said: “I’ve been a very, very busy mum — I’ve got three kids. I think for a long time I’ve sort of prided myself on spinning all these plates and I think I felt like something was missing.
“When I sat still and sat with myself, I realised that the thing missing was me. I didn’t know what music I liked or what I was into.”
Later, Holly said she had no plans to leave ITV’s This Morning because she had found “magic” with co-host Phillip Schofield.
