Struggling to Find Work

Hollyoaks actor David Tag, known for his role as Sylver McQueen, has revealed his plans to open his own gym as a way to earn money in between acting jobs. Tag, 38, played the character for four years before being killed off at the beginning of last year.

Experience of Jobbing Actor

Since leaving the soap, Tag has been working as a jobbing actor and has experienced the ups and downs of the industry. After a challenging 2023, he decided to start his own business to support his family.

Plans for a Private Gym

Tag, who used to work as a personal trainer before joining Hollyoaks, is in the process of opening his own PT studio. Located in Knutsford, the gym will be a private studio with exclusive membership. Tag also plans to hire other trainers to work there.

Upcoming Panto Run

Before opening his gym, Tag will be busy over the festive period. He will be playing the role of Fleshcreep in the pantomime production of Jack And The Beanstalk at Rochdale's Middleton Arena. However, this year he has opted for a shorter run to spend more time with his family.
