Hunted viewers LIVID as contestants ‘grassed up’ by locals – branding them ‘the worst of humanity’

HUNTED viewers were left LIVID after contestants were ‘grassed up’ by locals – and branded them “the worst of humanity”.

The fourth instalment of the Channel 4 show aired last night.

Hunted viewers were left fuming after the locals “grassed up” the fugitives last night

Members of the public messaged the hunters to tell them they had spotted Abia nd Grace

So far the hunters have managed to catch four fugitives on the run, and yesterday evening they were desperate to add a few more to the list.

They had a plan to try and get Nathan Falcon and James Sorohan by hacking into Nathan’s Instagram and posting pictures of his beloved dog on it.

Abi and Grace were also nearly caught when they figured out that they were hiding inside a random old woman’s house – but luckily managed to escape.

But towards the end of the episode things took a turn for the worst.

I was on Hunted - the chase begins LONG before the cameras start rolling

One hunter revealed that a member of the public called up to share their location after spotting them just past Oxford on the A34 towards the M40 roundabout.

The team were convinced that they were heading home for their mum’s birthday and were convinced that they would be easy to spot on the busy road.

A second person messaged them saying that they had just seen them.

Meanwhile Abi and Grace were trying to get a lift off someone as they stood by the side of the road.

Moments later a traffic officer stopped them and told them that they were not allowed to walk down the motorway because it is dangerous.

As they asked the officer for a lift, but as the episode came to an end, the hunters spotted them on the side of the road.

Many viewers took to Twitter to share their frustration with the public for grassing the sisters in.

One wrote: “FFS!! Don’t grass them up, give them a lift instead!!! #Hunted.”

A second questioned: “Not really watched #Hunted before but why do people grass them up?”

A third added: “Again the public grassing up the fugitives. T***s #Hunted.”

“The people who grass on the fugitives are the worst of humanity,” a fourth chimed in.

After Sunday night’s installment viewers branded the latest series “rigged” as they blasted Channel 4 for “turning show into a farce”.

Those watching at home thought that what happened during Sunday night’s show was all set up and unrealistic.

One wrote on Twitter: “Just from episode one you can already tell how rigged another series of @Hunted_HQ is going to be. Bring back the originals where it wasn’t as staged.”

Another said: “Anyone else think this might be rigged #Hunted, it’s like watching WWF back in the 90s.”

It comes a week after viewers were left in hysterics after an on-the-run pair in VERY rude location.

Katie and Liam ended up in a field in a village located in the county of Lincolnshire – which had a very amusing name.

Liam pointed at their location on the map and he said: “We are here, in B***hfield, so we want to get somewhere towards Devil’s A**e.
