He made his debut in the acting world at a young age, participating in numerous theatre productions. Notably, he played a lost boy in Peter Pan and secured a role in the renowned show To Kill A Mockingbird.

Furthermore, it seems that Billy had his sights set on a role in a rival soap, EastEnders. He disclosed that he had auditioned for the part of Bobby Beale and had even been considered for the character of Hunter. While these opportunities did not come to fruition, the actor spoke highly of the EastEnders team and their welcoming nature.
