EVERY year Casa Amor ends in tears for at least one villa resident as sexy new singletons prove too tempting for coupled up islanders.
One former Love Island star who had the rug pulled from under her feet was Georgia Steel, who was gutted when partner Josh Denzel returned from Casa Amor with Kaz Crossley in 2018.
Now, with bosses sending the girls to the rival villa for the first time in three years, Georgia, 24, lifts the lid on what it’s really like to be separated from your couple for a week.
Unbeknownst to Georgia, Josh spent his entire time in Casa Amor sharing a bed and endless snogs with Kaz Crossley.
But Georgia claims she twigged he’d been faithful when she was made to wait until last for Caroline Flack to reveal whether Josh had stayed loyal or not.
“I do feel like I had a few doubts in my mind when I was stood there,” she admits.

“Jack had just come back for Dani, so I thought, Josh isn’t going to come back to me because that’s going to be too good to be true and there’ll be no drama.
“So I was feeling something funny was going on.”
When she saw Josh arrive with Kaz, she kept her composure but admitted it was a “shock”.
She recalls: “I’d kind of prepared myself for it, but I was still really happy in the way that I conducted myself.
“I didn’t get upset. I did what I thought was right, and just went with that, to be honest. But it was a shock still.”
Despite coming across as heartbroken by Josh and Kaz at the recoupling, Georgia admits she flirted with Jordan during her time in Casa Amor – but it wasn’t shown on TV.
She says: “Me and Jordan were getting on really, really well, and were speaking throughout the whole Casa Amor stint on the show.
“But when it came to the end of it, my mindset was a little bit more with Josh.
“I never really got into anything physical with Jordan, whereas with Josh I felt like there was more depth, and we’d had three weeks together rather than one.
“If I’d had three weeks with Jordan, I probably would have gone with him. In reality, we were much more well-suited. We were the same age. We did the same job. We were both from up north, it would’ve made more sense.
“I just felt like I owed it to Josh, which now sounds ridiculous!”
Newcomers picked to ‘test’ couples
Heads often turn when fresh meat arrives in the villa, and Georgia claims it’s because producers handpick blokes who fit the “type on paper” previously described by the girls.
“I really liked some of them,” she tells us. “I feel like the people sent into Casa Amor are sent in to really test you and your relationships.
“Producers must choose based on the girls’ types, because they literally got my type down to an absolute tee, especially with this one boy Jordan [Adefeyisan].
“They definitely put boys in there that they know the girls would like. What’s the point otherwise?”
Georgia remembers producers “pushing” the girls – especially her and Dani Dyer, who was in a solid couple with Jack Fincham – to speak to the boys.
She says: “They definitely encourage you and they want you to make the best out of the situation because, at the end of the day, if you have a better connection with one of them, they want us to go with that.
“And if you’re not going to talk to them, you’re never going to know. They probably do give you a little bit of a push in that sense.”
Ice-breakers
The islanders in both villas are always made to play cringeworthy games like Truth or Dare – which creates tension as couples realise their partner may be kissing someone else.
While this is often dubbed cruel by viewers, Georgia insists it helps to break the ice.
“I was in there from the beginning, and had been with the boys for four weeks,” she recalls.
“So you kind of feel like a duty of care to the original boys, like you want to respect them, so you’re a little bit standoffish when the new boys come in.
“I think when the producers get you to play the games, it’s the best possible thing to crack the ice and get things going, because in the normal world, you probably would be a little more hesitant to kissing them when you’ve just been sharing a bed with someone else.”
Jacques’ head may turn
Georgia says the lads tend to treat Casa Amor as a lads’ holiday, making them more inclined to stray than the girls.
“I feel like girls settle a bit quicker than guys,” she says. “And I hate to say it, because we’re all equal, but boys are more likely to cheat.
“That’s why they’re always the ones who get sent away!”
When it comes to this year’s islanders, Georgia says Jacques O’Neill and Paige Thorne are her favourites, but she fears he could cheat.

“I really feel like Jacques could have his head turned but I really hope he doesn’t, because I really love Paige and I feel like they would make a really lovely couple,” she tells us.
“I can tell by the way he is, he’s a little bit of a cheeky boy, so Casa Amor is going to be the ultimate test for them.”
