I’M A Celebrity fans are growing impatient for the arrival of arguably the show’s two biggest stars – Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson.
The line-up of celebs putting themselves through the ordeals of food deprivation, terrifying trials and public showering in the Welsh castle was first revealed by The Celeb Report weeks ago.
We told how bona fide soap stars Adam, Ian Beale in Eastenders, and Simon, Steve McDonald in Coronation Street would be late arrivals sent in to shake things up.
Now fans have begged ITV bosses to hurry up and send them in after watching the likes of Naughty Boy and Arlene Phillips saying they want to QUIT the juggernaut show just two days into the 2021 series.
Restless fans have taken to Twitter, with one writing: “What was the genuine thought process behind signing 78 year old Arlene Phillips up? Might as well have got my Nan in, least she’d show a bit of personality, need Ian Beale and Steve McDonald in ASAP it’s boring as fuck at the minute #ImACeleb”
Another moaned: “Just catching up on #ImACeleb and as per I don’t barely know anyone a thought Ian Beale and Steve was gunna be in it from the soaps
I’m devastated”
Another remarked: “arlene and naughty boy want to leave so get ian beale and steve mcdonald in asap pls #imaceleb”
And one more pleaded: “God sake get Steve McDonald and Ian Beale in to liven this lot up #ImACeleb!”
Latecomers have been frequent on the show and can often lift spirits in the camp.
In 2019 another Coronation Street star Andy Whyment and EastEnders actor Cliff Parisi entered the I’m A Celebrity Jungle together, when the show was well under way.
The same scenario occurred in 2020 with Ruthie Henshall and Russell Watson.
However, ITV bosses are staying tight-lipped about any late arrivals in I’m A Celebrity 2021, and the soap legends themselves have not addressed rumours of their arrival.
Their whereabouts or the reason for their absence have yet to be disclosed.

Meanwhile, fans have been enjoying the drama whipped up by the likes of Naughty, who threw a wobbly last night.
He threatened to quit the show after becoming fed up with rival campmates and conditions in the castle – and was consoled by Richard Madeley.
