I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here has been embroiled in a “fakery” row after a campmate was accused of playing up for the cameras.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were joined by Stephen Mulhern in an Instagram live video on Thursday evening to discuss who they thought would be the first to leave the jungle.
Stephen Mulhern nodded along to messages about one campmate “playing it up”
Stephen hit out that Chris would be the first to leave
Ant, 47, and Dec, also 47, were joined by their close pal and Britain’s Got Talent co-star Stephen, 45, to chat all things I’m A Celeb.
Celebrating Ant’s birthday with an Instagram Live party, talk soon turned to the first elimination of this series.
The trio discussed who they thought would be crowned the winner, as well as who would leave the jungle camp tonight.
It was then that Stephen hit out against former Radio One star Chris Moyles – as he suggested there’s “something which isn’t quite right” with the star, meaning he will be the first to go.
“This is going to be quite controversial within the industry, everyone’s gonna go ‘Oh, you’re very brave’,” Stephen told Ant and Dec.
“Chris Moyles, I think he’ll be the first to go. I just think there is something which isn’t quite right there.”
“He hasn’t done well in the trials, has he?” Ant said, as Stephen hinted Chris could have been faking it, as he winked for the camera.
“You know how much I love the show, I could be like Mystic Meg saying ‘this does not feel quite right’,” Stephen said.
He could be seen nodding along as Dec revealed they were receiving messages from fans that he was “putting it on” during trials.
“Genuinely,” Stephen said, before changing the subject.
It comes after Chris was seen shouting a VERY sassy comeback at Ant and Dec as he took part in a Bushtucker trial this week.
The Radio X DJ replied sarcastically when the hosts told him it was “just cockroaches” he was being showered with in the trial.
“No no no no don’t do that to me,” Chris could be heard shouting during the trial, as Dec clarified: “It’s just cockroaches so far.”
Chris then slammed him: “That’s all right, oh cheers, thanks for that, guys. I thought it was just cockroaches. Do you know what I mean?”
Former Radio 1 star Chris was voted by the public to take on Wednesday night’s Boiling Point challenge.
It came after he was voted to take part in the Angel of Agony trial – alongside Boy George and Babatunde Aleshe.
In his second trial, he failed to secure stars for camp, and came back with his head held low in shame with just a singular star.
MAKING A MARK
I'm known as 'the girl with hip dips' - people troll me but I love my body
Chris — whose girlfriend Tiffany Austin arrived at Brisbane airport on Australia’s Gold Coast yesterday — said: “I can’t go back to camp.
“They’ll all say really nice things and every single one of them will be lying.”
He later confessed to campmates: “It’s really not good news and I’m really sorry. I got one star. To make it worse I got two and it fell out of my bag.”
The celebs were eventually served a bony fish and one mushroom. Chris repeated: “I’m so sorry.”
The first elimination will take place on tongiht’s show
