Just minutes into the first episode viewers slammed the show – and accused it of being like Danny Dyer’s The Wall

The high-intensity show sees contestants win a life changing sum of money – or go home empty handed.

Each contestant must navigate their way through questions and each correct answer earns them a ball which they then roll onto The Launcher – a machine at the helm of the show.

The cash continues to climb along with the pressure, leaving players and viewers in constant suspense before leading up to the final game of Moneyball, where players can win everything or leave with nothing.

Each hopeful has a chance at winning an eye-watering jackpot of up to £250,000.

However, just minutes into the first episode viewers slammed the show – and accused it of being like Danny Dyer‘s The Wall.

Taking to social media, one said: “I had a feeling Saturday night tv was coming to an end this show has confirmed it.”

A second wrote: “Is this like the Wall with Danny dyer but an upside version.”

“Never watched this #MoneyBall before but f*** me its s***. Doubt I’ll be watching this tripe again anytime soon,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “8pm sat night is the biggest slot on TV this shows that bad it’s got about 50 tweets dreadful.”

Moneyball continues next weekend on ITV1 and ITVX.
