KANYE West revealed why he really bought a house across the street from Kim Kardashian’s $60M mansion after she filed for divorce last year.
Kanye, 44, spoke to Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee about his recent purchase.
The rap star discussed his children – North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two – during the clip.
The Block Party star opened up: “My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule.”
He continued: “It’s why I even got the house. The media flipped it like there was something wrong with me getting a house next to my kids.
“There’s nothing that’s going to keep me from my children. That’s what I want everybody to know.”
Kanye concluded: “Don’t play with me. Don’t play with my children. Ain’t no security going to get between me and my children.
“You ain’t going to gaslight me. You ain’t going to run this narrative on me.”
The entire interview from Hollywood Unlocked will be released on January 17, 2022.
HIDDEN HILLS
Back in December 2021, the rapper dropped millions for the Hidden Hills estate in California, according to Dirt.
The property has enough space for about four bedrooms and up to three bathrooms.
The estate also has a ranch, which came with horse stables.
Kanye secured the deed after having paid about $421,000 over the asking price.
Kim, 41, filed for divorce from her ex back in February 2021.
THE DISS TRACK
Recently, the Power singer reportedly has a new track, titled Eazy, which was leaked on social media.
Kim’s ex appeared to have gone straight for Suicide Squad actor in the lyrics.
Pete, 28, has been linked to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum since they kissed in an Aladdin skit on Saturday Night Live back in October 2021.
Ye rapped: “God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”
The official version of the song is reportedly expected to be released in the early morning of Saturday, January 15th.
Both Kanye and The Game shared the same image of what fans in the comments believed to be a “skinned monkey” with a red background.
The two rappers captioned their posts: “MY LIFE WAS NEVER EAZY”
The Game added the hashtag: “#Drillmatic”
NEW ROMANCE
The leak of Kanye’s latest track happened after he had been spotted in public with the Uncut Gems actress.
Actress Julia Fox, 31, and the Donda rapper were recently spotted together on a dinner date at the Carbone Restaurant in Miami, Florida.
The two appeared to be enjoying themselves as they smiled during their candlelit dinner.
When they went out on another date together, the two saw a Broadway show and ate at Carbone in New York.
