LOVE Island fans got their first look at Maya Jama as host in a new trailer to air on ITV tonight.
The 28-year-old star is taking over from Laura Whitmore as presenter when the show returns later this month.

It’s not known whether Maya will have a beefed-up role compared to Laura, but ITV described the star today as “our official love motivator”.
The ninth series of Love Island takes place in South Africa for only the second time since the series began.
A special trailer will air on ITV tonight in the ad break for James Bond film No Time To Die.
Appropriately, it sees Maya in darkness before being illuminated, Bond girl style.
The star, wearing an all-in-one jumpsuit covered in jewels, then strides up to a bucking bull and clambering aboard – before spinning around.
Maya – previously best known for co-hosting Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer – tells viewers: “It’s time to grab love by the horns, I am ready, are you?”
One fan asked: “How can the host be 10x finer than any of the contestants?”
Voiceover man Iain Stirling added as the show’s theme tune played: “Love Island, coming soon to ITV2 and ITVX.”
Love Island is due to begin on Monday, January 16 – a day that has been dubbed Blue Monday because it’s thought to be the most depressing of the year.
A source said: “Love Island bosses have planned for the show to start on Blue Monday – which is bound to give fans a massive lift on such a gloomy day.”
She will tell ITV viewers on Saturday night: ‘I am ready, are you?’
Love Island is set to return to ITV2 later this month
