LOOSE Women host Christine Lampard was forced to apologise today as one of ITV’s newest stars said a banned word.
Starstruck judge Adam Lambert, who has been touring its biggest shows in recent week, spoke about piss “p***”.
Ironically it fell to foul-mouthed Linda Robson, who famously said “f***” live on air last year, to give him a ticking off.
The 63-year-old Birds of a Feather legend told him: “I’m not totally sure you can say that.”
Adam protested that as swear words go it was on the mild side but Christine apologised to viewers nonetheless.
She said: “It’s slightly different in an American accent but we do apologise.”
The Starstruck coach, 40, was speaking about his days on American Idol as he remembered having to cope with criticism.
He said: “You have to be able to laugh it off and take the p*** out of yourself.”
Panellist Linda told him: “Erm. I don’t think you were allowed to say that word. It’s normally me.”
Nadia Sawalha added: “If only you know how hilarious it is that she’s correcting you on this.”
Linda prompted a massive apology on Loose Women last year when she dropped the F-word on air.
Wheeling in a box of cash for a competition she said: “This is it, one million pounds right here in this trolly. It came right from the ITV bank account this morning.”
She then added: “How the f*** do I look at it?”
The actress said later: “Sorry for a slight slip of the tongue earlier, I really thought it was a rehearsal.”
