LOVE Island fans have all been left with the same moan after the guys and girls were treated to a 90s party.
The Islanders squealed for joy as they learned they would be celebrating the iconic decade for one night only during Wednesday’s show.
Love Island’s Shaq pulled out his best 70s dance moves for the 90s party
Lana and Will also appeared to be confused about how people in the 90s danced
But viewers of the show were confused by the theme, especially as some of the stars were not even alive in the 90s.
Things then reached fever pitch when Shaq Muhammad – born in 1999 – began throwing around dance moves from the 70s while sharing his excitement in the Beach Hut.
Lana Jenkins, 25, and Will Young, 23, were also caught pulling out some shapes from 50 years ago.
Taking to Twitter, one Love Island fan tweeted: “Did they say a 90s party?? Were they even born in the 90s and Shaq was doing dance moves from the 70s. Boy bye.”
Another added: “He talking about a 90s party but doing 70s dance moves…”
A third chimed in: “These lot are too young man, they said 90s party so he starts doing 70s dance moves.”
And a fourth said: “SHAQ. No idea how peeps danced in the 90s, pulling out the 70s night fever moves.”
Along with the questionable dance moves, others were left scratching their heads over the Islanders’ 90s outfits.
The contestants discovered their party clobber in the bedrooms but not everyone was convinced it fit with the theme.
Property developer Zara Lackenby-Brown, 25, wore a skintight PVC outfit, consisting of a boob tube and mini skirt.
Ring girl Olivia Hawkins, 27, stood out from the crowd in a neon green dress and long gloves, while student Tanya Manhenga, 22, was dressed in a handkerchief top, white skinny jeans and silver boots.
“Tell me why I’m actually irritated that half of the outfits just aren’t 90s,” one viewer complained.
A second wrote: “These outfits are giving me PLT clearance sale than 90s vibes.”
Someone else added: “Us 90s babies actually watching these non-90s inspired outfit choices.”
And another fumed: “The girls outfits aren’t giving 90s at all
i love themed parties it pains me when people don’t stick to the theme.”
Apart from their 70s dance moves, the boys faired better than the girls with their 90s getups.
Farmer Will Young, 23, stole the show with his zebra bucket hat and tie dye T-shirt, while 26-year-old Ron Hall donned an oversized stonewash baseball jacket and jeans.
Love Island fans weren’t wild about the so-called 90s outfits
Some felt the getups had missed the mark of the decade
Ron’s oversized baseball jacket ticked the right box
Will also got it right in his zebra bucket hat
