LOVE Island fans are desperate for Maya Jama to replace Laura Whitmore on the show.
Laura, 37, announced she had quit last night after presenting just three series – and viewers already know who they want to replace her.

Fans want Maya Jama to take over
Maya, 28, was previously tipped to host the ITV2 show in 2019 after Caroline Flack stepped down.
The presenter, who is engaged to Ben Simmons, admitted she nearly had to jet home early from holiday to take over – but the role was filled by Laura Whitmore.
She said at the time: “You’re just kind of like, “Oh, that’s nice.” It’s a nice feeling that people want you to do something and it’s nice that people trust that you would be good at doing your job on such a big platform, so it’s flattering.”
And now fans are desperate for her to finally step into the host’s shoes.
Taking to Twitter to discuss it, one person wrote: “There’s only one person good enough for the @LoveIsland job and that’s @MayaJama.”
A second added: “Maya Jama should host love island. She was in the line up of who would host it when Caroline flack left before the first winter one started #loveisland.”
While a third commented: “I don’t care about Laura whitmore I just want them to announce Maya Jama as the new host. This is the only reason I’ll watch winter love island.”
Laura quit last night, saying there were “certain elements of the show I’ve found very difficult”.
She said the issues included “flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects.”
Laura recently announced she was about to star in the West End play 2:22: A Ghost Story.
And The Celeb Report revealed last month that Laura, married to Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, would also be quitting BBC Radio 5 Live.
Writing on Instagram, Laura said: “I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into three series. I hope I did you proud Caroline.”
Caroline, 40, took her own life in 2020.
