Maya Jama will host the 95 minute episode
The Love Island final will keep us entertained for a whopping 95 minutes, airing from 9pm until 10.35pm on Monday July 31.
The remaining couples will be seen fighting it out one last time in a bid to be crowned the winners of the show – and bag a cool £50,000 to boot.
Usually, after the winning couple is announced, host Maya Jama will ask if they were in the show for love or money.
Each contestant is then presented with an envelope, one of which contains £0 while the other holds the full £50,000.
Whoever opens the envelope containing the dosh has two options – split it or keep it.
Viewers can look forward to the dramatic moment airing on their screens in just over a week.
Fans have already been wondering if the series finale is now in sight, after the revelation that the islanders’ parents have already been into the villa.
At the end of Friday night’s episode, a sneak peek revealed that the Meet The Parents special has already been filmed.
Traditionally, it comes at the very the end of the series and usually features some very awkward scenes, as angry relatives confront their off-spring’s new partner about shady antics.
But this year, in a surprise twist, the Meet The Parents episode will air eight days before the series finale.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer exclaimed: “It’s time to meet the parents already?!”
Another chimed in: “Why is meet the parents so early?”
And a third echoed: “How is it meet the parents already?! There hasn’t even been the talent show!”
The Celeb Report Online previously told how bosses have purposely brought the segment forward this year.
A source said: “In a never before seen series first, the producers have decided to bring it forward so friends and family can really give their honest thoughts and opinions on the couples just before they are at the pivotal point in deciding where to take their relationships.”
