LOVE Island’s Lillie Haynes emerged from her nose surgery with a bandaged and bruised face yesterday.
The 23-year-old smiled and waved as she climbed into the passenger seat of a car to continue her recovery at home.
Casa Amor girl Lillie’s op went to plan, with her telling fans: “Everything went well and I’m all good
I will try to get back to as many messages as I can, big love x.”
She found fame in the villa last year after kissing Liam Reardon in the show’s second villa – then explaining what had happened to a shocked Millie Court.
Since then she’s used her explosive scenes on the show and the fame it delivered to build a devoted following on Instagram.
However, she explained that her nose has always been her “biggest insecurity” and headed to Manchester for rhinoplasty surgery.
Yesterday she shared footage of her in a surgical gown and clutching a soft toy with a tag bearing her date of birth around her wrist.
The star later posted a picture of her watching TV afterwards as she thanked fans for their kind wishes.
She told her followers: “This is hands down my biggest insecurity and has been for so LONG.
“When I had my first phone call with my mam after Love Island one of my first questions was ‘what’s the comments on my nose’…
“Living like this isn’t healthy for me and although it doesn’t fully stop me going out and living life, I do think once I’m happy with myself on the outer shell the real true happy lillie can finally live freely.”
The star didn’t hold back on the most recent series of Love Island after Liam chose Millie – who he is still with – over her.
The Geordie was at the centre of an explosive love triangle episode on the ITV2 show when she told devastated Millie that she and Liam had kissed behind her back and shared a bed together.
The bombshell revelation — just minutes after Millie and Liam, who had spent days apart, shared a happy reunion — left Millie in tears and plunged the villa into chaos.
Speaking to The Celeb Report after leaving the show she said: “When I found out Liam hadn’t chosen me, I felt misled. He’d been giving me what I wanted to hear and I was convinced he was the one.
“He made me feel as if I had a really strong chance of going back to the villa with him. He was very hands-on — we were like a couple in there.
“So I definitely thought I was going to get picked. When he chose to go back alone, I was shocked.
“Then when I walked into the villa with the other girls, I didn’t like how Liam had Millie’s necklace and his arm around her after how he’d been with me.
“It wouldn’t have been nice of me to stand there and let her be happy and lovey, thinking: ‘Oh, he’s come back’ when she was being mugged off.”
