She played the fairy in Snow White at Middleton Arena, Manchester last year.

And in 2020, she played a mermaid in Peter Pan at Derby.

Plus Molly has revealed she was understudy to EastEnders’ star Rita Simons as the Evil Queen in Derby Arena’s Sleeping Beauty in 2021.

Molly said: “It was nice to actually have a little relationship with Rita and have rehearsal days with her.

“I’d kind of go ‘please don’t be off because I don’t know the script well enough yet’. And she was like, ‘babe don’t worry, I’ve got your back, I’ll be on every day unless something drastic happens.’

“I’ve done a few pantos now but I loved playing The Fairy because the audience love you and you get to save the day.”

Performing runs in Molly’s blood as her mum Janet is an actress who has appeared on a handful of episodes of Corrie and a number of other shows.

Molly, 21 from Doncaster, added: “My whole family is so encouraging. They know I love the show and they’re excited for me to hopefully go and find the one.

“Imagine meeting the guy in there that I’m gonna spend the rest of my life with, that’s the dream!”

Molly will check into the villa tomorrow to begin filming ahead of the launch show on Monday night.

The ITV2 show has already hit headlines after fans called for another Islander, business exec George Fensom to be axed from the line-up over unearthed tweets containing homophobic slurs.

Maya Jama returns as host

  • Love Island begins on Monday night at 9pm on ITV2.
