Love Island’s Remi accuses producers of giving one contestant ‘a good edit’ saying rival RUINED his experience

LOVE Island star Remi Lambert has slammed his co-star Jacques O’Neill as having ruined his time in the villa due to unaired rows.

The former contestant – who was dumped alongside Afia Tonkmore this week – opened up about his experiences inside the villa.

Remi said that Jacques “ruined” his time on Love Island

He explained that he and his co-star had arguments off screen

Remi, 22, was joined by his co-star Afia, 25, as they sat down to spill the beans on a series of nasty arguments between contestants.

The model opened up about how one of the male Islanders ruined his time on the show as he was getting “in a lot of arguments”.

He suggested that his co-star Jacques, 23, was being given ‘good edit’ by producers who hid the fact he was clashing with the boys.

Opening up on YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu, Remi said; “There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired – a lot of stuff going on.

“So basically – me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s***t. It ruined it for me.”

“People were saying, “It’s because he’s got a rugby persona’ – but you can’t treat people like that,” Remi hit back against Jacques.

“He was just trying to get onto me,” he continued, saying that Jacques would “constantly” mimic his voice and accent.

“It was like, ‘Hi I’m Remi, I’m hard and I’m from Manny’, it was just so jarring. I was the only one to stick up for myself.”

“We just got into a lot of fights and stuff,” Remi concluded of his time on the show – which came to an end earlier this week.

Reposting the video of Remi, one fan suggested the video meant that Jacques had been given a “good edit” on the show.

“Remi basically confirming in an interview that Jacques mocks the Islanders constantly,” they wrote. “Giving Jacques a good edit.”

It comes after Remi was asked to perform a rap on the spot by show host Laura Whitmore, minutes after he was dumped from the island.

Fans at home were FURIOUS at the turn of events, and the awkward interview that followed as he struggled to speak.

Many viewers hit out at presenter Laura, 37, as they insisted she could’ve handled the situation better.

They noted how Remi appeared to look like he was “about to cry” as he was questioned about his time in the villa.

One said: “They did him so wrong, it’s hard to watch,” as a second chimed in: “He looked like he was about to cry.”

After the interview Laura told the studio audience: “Oh my god everything in me wanted to just give him a hug.”

As he left the villa Remi said: “My sight is set on finding love, that’s what my intention was coming here.

“But I’ve had a great time, coming on this is a mad thing.”

Remi shook up the villa by making his move on Indiyah when he arrived with fellow bombshell Jay Younger last week.
