A former Married At First Sight UK groom has responded to accusations of bullying from his former partner in a fiery Instagram rant. Manchester-based Adrian Sanderson called his ex-partner Thomas Hartley a "cruel, unkind bully" in the unexpected outburst this weekend.

Adrian and Thomas both appeared on last year's series of the E4 hit show and, despite their split, seemed to maintain a friendly relationship. However, Adrian made it clear in his Instagram video that their friendship is now over.

Adrian posted a video on his Instagram page, seated in his car, addressing the situation. He expressed his relief that things are now over and urged his followers to "get back to laughing." He also dismissed negative opinions about himself, stating, "it's really easy not to follow me."

Thomas Responds

In a hot pink hoodie and black baseball cap, Thomas recorded his own video where he asserted that he has always been authentic. He also addressed the end of his relationship with Adrian, which took place 15 months ago.

Adrian's Explosive Claims

Earlier, Adrian had written a scathing post on social media, claiming that Thomas consistently made cruel jokes and displayed hateful behavior towards him and other cast members during their time on the show. He also revealed that Thomas clashed with one of his friends at their wedding, which was not fully shown on screen.

Thomas's Mother Joins the Fray

In response, Thomas's mother, Helen, appeared in a video with him where she expressed her thoughts about Adrian. However, Adrian wasn't the only one to criticize Thomas, as fellow contestant Jess Potter also accused him of bullying during the series.

Last year, Thomas apologized for the pain he caused and expressed regret for his conduct. Meanwhile, Adrian revealed that there is another MAFS star he refuses to speak to, and it's not Thomas. In recent updates, Thomas has showcased his fitness progress on Instagram.
