Masked Singer fans convinced Poodle is Take That star – but did you spot it?

THE Masked Singer fans are convinced they’ve got Poodle on point after making a huge guess about the glam pooch’s identity.

Poodle got the ITV studio audience and panel of judges onto their feet with a knockout performance of Elton John‘s Rocketman, but also sparked a debate as to who is behind the fluffy face mask.

The Masked Singer sees famous faces go head to head to put on a standout music performance while their identities are kept a secret under some outrageous costumes.

Poodle went up against Snow Leopard who was unmasked recently and turned out to be Loose Women panelist Gloria Hunniford.

Although the pampered pup’s identity remains under wraps, many ITV fans believe it to be a huge Take That star.

Telly addicts are adamant the Back For Good band’s vocalist Gary Barlow is behind the mask after a new clue to it’s identity was teased.

The clue stated: “I once went on long walkies,” which some fans took to refer to Gary’s trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009.

One wrote: “Is @MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSingerUK Poodle Gary Barlow?

“He went for a long “walkies” up Kilimanjaro to raise money, and if you listen to the performance it does rather sound like him.”

Another agreed and posted: “After listening back a few times, Poodle is DEFINITELY Gary Barlow!”

A third then put: “Also a bit late to the party but Poodle is 100% Gary Barlow and no one can convince me otherwise.”

One then concluded: “MaskedSingerUK poodle has got to be the amazing Gary Barlow. He can disguise his voice as much as he likes, but I’d recognise it anywhere.”

MYSTERY POOCH

Gloria’s unmasking comes a day after M People singer Heather Small, 56, was revealed as Chandelier.

But while Gloria was unveiling herself, viewers were busy at work trying to figure out Poodle’s identity.

The colourful pooch’s clue package had them in a nail salon with lot of references to queens, dogs, being flamboyant and Royal Variety Performance.

Poodle also filmed some of their package at a dog show course while throwing around the word “fabulous” a lot and that they “love a bit of glamour.”

The judging panel — Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan – thought the celebrity might have something to do with drag queens and guessed it was either Paul O’Grady, Adam Lambert, Michael Ball or Rylan Clark.

Some fans did in fact think that Paul was poodle too.

They reasoned it was him because he has a show called For the Love of Dogs, performed in drag as Lily Savage for years and has appeared on the Royal Variety Performance many times.

“Poodle is deffo Paul O’Grady… for the love of dogs, Lily Savage (drag queen, where the queens come from),” wrote one fan on Twitter.

Another added: “Poodle is DEFINITELY Paul O’Grady!”
