MASKED Singer fans are convinced two clues ‘expose’ Pointless star as Traffic Cone.
Fans of the ITV show flocked to Twitter convinced they had uncovered him.
The memes and guesses came thick and fast for 51-year-old Alexander Armstrong.
One fan Tweeted: “traffic cone is Alexander Armstrong.”
Another said: “it’s Alexander Armstrong 100% , Alexander the great he was a Greek king or something like that.
A third chimed in: “Alexander Armstrong for Traffic cone??
Minor but the shake when Jonathan said Bradley Walsh was suspicious to me.
We all know about their rivalry with Pointless and The Chase so was it a way of saying “you’re close” or is it actually Bradley?
Meanwhile Russell Watson has denied he’s the Masked Singer’s Traffic Cone – but insists he knows who it is.
The singer, 55, was adamant it is his friend behind the mask, saying he recognises the voice having worked with him on numerous occasions.
Russell was quizzed about whether he was taking part in the singing competition during an appearance on Good Morning Britain today.
He quickly shut down the conversation telling Susanna Reid and Adil Ray: “I know who it is.”
The star explained: “The strange thing is, I didn’t know who it was when I saw the first performance, I had no idea. Then I heard the second performance and I know who it is. I’m absolutely certain.
“He’s not admitted it, he’s not mentioned it at all, but I’m convinced that is my mate Aled Jones.”
A number of fans also believe Traffic Cone could be Aled, but also The Chase host Bradley Walsh.
