Vanessa served up a black garlic brownie with anchovy condensed milk ice cream
Viewers were left disgusted by the dish and took to social media to vent
The task this time was to come up with a dish that is “so wrong that it’s right”.
One chef that grabbed the viewers attention was, Vanessa, who presented a black garlic brownie with anchovy condensed milk ice cream.
John said: “I don’t get a prominence of black garlic.”
Gregg agreed, stating that he, too, wanted more flavouring.
He told Vanessa that he was grinding “like crazy” with the anchovies in order to get the flavour and he could smell it and “it was disturbing.”
Fans were also left disgusted by the dish as they took to Twitter to vent, with many branding it “minging”.
One wrote: “Oh my god who would even eat that. Eww.”
Another added: “I’m maybe uncultured with all this but anchovy ice cream. Please stop.”
A third complained: “That is disgusting! Get her off please.”
A fourth penned: “The fish ice cream with my brownie is too subtle. for f**k sake MasterChef can you hear yourselves?”
A fifth wrote: “This round is minging. Don’t mince your words.”
