LOVE Island star Maura Higgins has shared an emotional video of her mum breaking down in tears after she gifted her a £38k Mercedes Benz.
The reality TV favourite took to her Instagram stories with the clip from Christmas Day, which saw her mum walking outside to discover the stunning C-Class Saloon.
Maura, 30, filmed as her mum Sharon Higgins placed her head in her hands and sobbed with joy as she walked up to the white car.
The brand new Mercedes – which has a starting price of £38,785 – had been parked outside the family home in Longford, Ireland.
The TV star had topped the car with a bright red bow on the bonnet before filming her mother walking round it in tears as she inspected her new wheels.
“You deserve everything and more, Merry Christmas mammy,” Maura captioned a snap from the emotional moment, posting it to Instagram.
She followed up with the video clip of her mum, explaining that her 3.3million followers that her “mammy was left speechless” by the gift.
Maura, who lives in Essex and is frequently seen staying with pal Molly-Mae Hague in Manchester, flew home to Ireland to be with her family for Christmas.
Pretty Little Thing creative director Molly-Mae, 23, also gifted her mum a luxury car for the festive season, opting for a £42,000 Audi Q5.
The Love Island star went back to Hitchin in North Hertfordshire, with the extravagant gift for her mum, Debbie Gordon.
She surprised her with a brand new Audi Q5 and promised fans she ‘vlogged’ the moment her mum saw the surprise.
“Happy Christmas mum,” the Love Island star captioned her Instagram story, that showed Debbie giving her daughter a peck on the lips in front of her new wheels.
Molly-Mae decked out the grey car with a giant ribbon and inflatable red star before handing it over on Christmas Day.
The star now lives in Cheshire with beau Tommy Fury, also 22, but is currently back home visiting her family for the festive season.
In her recent YouTube video the Love Island star explained that it means she doesn’t get to see Tommy over the Christmas period.
She told fans: “I don’t obsess over Christmas, I’m not massively into Christmas.
“Don’t get me wrong I do like it but I’m not obsessed with it. I think when you come from a split household Christmas is always a little bit different,” she continued.
“I want to make sure that I spend the time with my family, but when my family are doing their own two different places, it’s always a little bit tricky.
“I like to see Tommy and his family at Christmas but because my family are down south, I don’t really get to do that.”
Molly’s mum Debbie Gordon married her long-term partner Jon Rayner in July with the reality TV star and her older sister Zoe acting as bridesmaids on the day.
