Struggling with the new system
Michaela Strachan, the last woman standing in Dancing On Ice, is concerned that her elderly fans might face challenges with the show's new online voting system. Traditional phone lines have been replaced by a QR code displayed on screen, giving viewers just six minutes to support their favorite contestant.
Defying the odds
Despite being the eldest contestant left on the show, Michaela is impressing both judges and fans with her performances, giving younger competitors like Dan Edgar and Sam Aston a run for their money. The pressure is on as she aims to become the first woman to win the series since 2013.
Her motivation to reach the final
Partnered with Mark Hanretty, Michaela's main goal is to help him achieve a milestone in his 12th and final year on the show by performing the bolero. Winning is not her primary focus, as she values the opportunity to support her partner's last year on the ice.
Dancing On Ice continues Sunday on ITV1 at 6.30pm.
