During the pre-recorded interview on The Graham Norton Show, Miranda opened up about her diagnosis with Lyme disease during the pandemic and how it made her realize she didn't want to be alone anymore. She shared, "I put out this little prayer with about one percent of hope, but I met someone and got married in July."

Describing their wedding day, Miranda shared that it was a small Hawaiian-themed gathering with inflatable flamingos, coconut bowling, and a steel band. Despite the unconventional theme, the couple embraced the joy of the occasion with their loved ones.

In her book "I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You," Miranda revealed that she met her mystery husband when he came to remove mould from her house. Their relationship blossomed during socially-distanced dates, leading to a realization that they were deeply in love. Miranda made it clear that he is not just her boyfriend but her husband.
