MONTY Don has sparked concern from his devoted fans as his beloved co-star went missing.

The Gardeners’ World personality took to Instagram with an adorable image of his dogs soaking up the sun.

He shared an adorable snap of only two of his pet pooches in the garden

As well as being a top gardener, Monty, 68, is also a famous dog lover and has owned multiple pets over the years.

The nature star shares three dogs with his wife Sarah – two golden retriever’s named Ned and Nell, and a Yorkshire terrier named Patti.

He shared the sweet snap of the golden retriever duo sleeping in the sunshine as he captioned the photo: “Ned and Nell sunbathing.”

However, concerned fans flocked to the comments section of the BBC Two star’s post as they noticed that one of the dog trio was absent.

Yorkshire terrier Patti was missing from the new photo and fans were concerned for the pooch.

One fan of the BBC personality noted: “Lovely to see them haven’t seen Nell for ages bless her and where is little Pathi ?”

Another follower exclaimed: “It is lovely to see 2 such gorgeous dogs so happy. Do miss Patty.”

In 2020 the TV gardening legend previously announced his doggy co-star Nigel had died.

Monty paid a touching tribute to Nigel by sharing a photo of him with Monty’s second dog, Nell.

The presenter captioned the post: “Another lovely picture of Nigel and Nell from 2016.”

Fans were left in tears at the emotional post and took to the comments section to express their feelings.
