Renovation Underway
Our Yorkshire Farm's Raven Owen recently shared an exciting update on the progress of a property owned by her parents, Amanda and Clive Owen. The 18th-century house, named High Smithy Holme, was purchased by the couple before they separated last year. The rundown property, known as Anty Johns, has been empty for about six decades and is listed as a Grade II building. The family has now embarked on a renovation project to make the house more livable.
Repairing the Roof
One of the first tasks on the renovation list is repairing the broken roof. Raven took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of the progress. In a video, she can be seen wearing a yellow hard hat on the roof of Anty Johns. She shows her followers the new wooden beams that have been installed to support the new roof. To prevent any future collapse, a red steel beam has also been placed across the middle of the property.
Slowly but Surely
Raven captioned the video, "Aunty Johns progress. Slowly but surely." It seems that Clive and Amanda are working together on this project, which is rumored to be featured in a new Channel 4 show. This comes after Amanda closed the doors of Ravenseat to the public earlier this year. Their son, Reuben, also shared a sneak peek at the renovation, confirming that his parents had reunited.
Exciting Times Ahead
It's an exciting time for the Owen family as they tackle the renovation of Anty Johns. With the support of their children and their determination to restore the property, it's sure to be an incredible transformation. Fans of Our Yorkshire Farm will be eagerly awaiting updates on the progress of this project and the new Channel 4 show that will showcase Amanda and Clive's reunion.
