PETER Andre mocked Ben Shephard after an awkward Good Morning Britain name blunder.
The Aussie singer, 49, is currently in Australia after being unable to travel home for two years due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Peter and Junior, 16, joined Ben and Kate Garraway via a live link from Australia after the travel ban was lifted.
During the show Pete and his family gave an emotional account of their family reunion after two years of being kept apart because of Covid restrictions.
When Ben was thanking Peter for coming on the show, his co-host Kate Garraway did not let it slip that Ben called Peter ‘Andre’ by mistake.
Ben tried to backpaddle and quipped back: “It’s like ‘The Andres.’ “
Peter thought it was hilarious and teased Ben just before he left.
Thanking the duo for having him on the show, Peter said: “It’s been lovely speaking to you Kate and. . . Shephard.”
Meanwhile during the segment viewers were distracted by Junior Andre’s accent as he appeared with dad Peter.
When Junior started talking about how emotional it had been to see his grandparents again, fans flocked to Twitter.
They thought the budding popstar sounded nothing like his Australian father Peter or British mother Katie Price.
One fan said: “What’s up with Junior’s accent?”
A second said: “Junior has a funny accent.”
A third said: “Junior Andre’s accent!”
Meanwhile Peter called his dad his ‘hero’ in a series of touching posts after finally being reunited with his father.
