Fans took to Twitter as Welcome to Plathville returned for season three with some big changes.
Parents Kim and Barry Plath got some hate as it was revealed that Ethan moved out and into a home with his wife Olivia and no longer has contact with his parents.
In a flashback to two years ago the couple were seen sitting with Ethan’s parents as Olivia explained how she was made to feel like a bad influence on the other kids.
Ethen then explained in a confessional: “Attempts to resolve issues, it felt like it didn’t go anywhere and our relationship was actually worse for it after dealing with all the drama.”
In her own confessional Olivia revealed that they had no choice but to “fight” and “cut out everything that doesn’t want us to make it.”
Ethan added: “We needed space as a couple so we decided that that meant no contact with my parents.”
As the show aired one of the most scathing comments on Twitter about Ethan’s parents accused them of being malipulative.
The viewer wrote: “I’m watching Plathville for the first time today, and I’m totally on Ethan,Micah,and Mariah’s side(if I had to choose a side). Their parents are so manipulating, and they put up a sweet “loving” front as if their doing nothing wrong!! It’s INSANE!”

Meanwhile, Moriah has her first date with Max but things don’t go so well as she’s dumped shortly after.
