Ryan turns to adult picture sharing site for cash
Ryan Connor's secret sex work is on the verge of being exposed in the hit British soap opera, Coronation Street. The character, played by Ryan Prescott, has been dealing with the aftermath of an acid attack earlier this year and has been trying to boost his confidence by setting up a fitness account on social media.
However, in need of cash, Ryan turned to a fictional adult picture sharing site called O-Vidz and started uploading topless pictures of himself. But things quickly escalated when a male O-Vidz subscriber asked for a live video of Ryan nude in exchange for a whopping £500.
A call gone wrong
In an upcoming episode of Coronation Street, Carla reminds a hesitant Ryan that it's time for him to start his first shift at Underworld. Ryan reluctantly begins working in the packing department, but his secret activities take a dark turn when Peter overhears him having a phone conversation that could ruin everything.
It turns out that Ryan has been engaging in phone sex with the O-Vidz subscriber, unbeknownst to those around him. Peter, shocked by what he hears, tells Carla about Ryan's activities, which leaves her questioning why Ryan spends so much time isolated in his room.
A confrontation with Daisy
Not one to stay out of the loop, Daisy overhears the conversation and confronts Ryan to get the truth out of him. She wants to know exactly what he has been up to and why he's been hiding it from everyone.
The big question now is whether Ryan will come clean about his secret life or continue to spiral deeper into denial and loneliness.
Struggling to find his place
Ryan's recent troubles have left him completely heartbroken, according to actor Ryan Prescott. He has lost Daisy, and his living arrangements with Peter and Carla are hanging by a thread. With his mother not around, Ryan spends a lot of time alone, avoiding social situations and seeking solace in his online activities.
Prescott explains, "The more he gets into his denial stage of delusion, the more he's feeling that loneliness, so he's still trying to reach out and hold on to those relationships that he has."
Will Ryan be able to salvage his relationships and find a way to move forward, or will his secret activities tear his world apart?
