Saturday Kitchen fans left red-faced over Nigella Lawson’s cooking segment for very raunchy reason

VIEWERS can always rely on Nigella Lawson to sauce up her segments, and she was on form during this morning’s Saturday Kitchen. 

In her slot on the popular BBC cooking show, the celeb chef, 62, was in the middle of what seemed like an innocent curry-making demo.

However, in true Nigella style, things got a bit raunchy when the star cracked out a bunch of banana skins.

She started off by throwing together a sauce before leaving it to bubble away and thicken on the stove. 

Then out came the banana skins, which Nigella apparently only recently discovered people can eat. 

“I admit, not totally visually appealing”, the mum-of-two confessed as she let out a cheeky little snigger. 

She went on to say: “But there’s something always so gratifying about using up every last scrap”. 

Nigella showed viewers how to prep the skins, describing their texture: “These just go so velvety and just swell and soften with the flavour of the curry sauce”. 

Saturday Kitchen fans quickly flocked to Twitter in response to the Simply Nigella host’s racy comments. 

One wrote: “Of course Nigella is on the telly showing us how to make a curry with a phallic fruit”. 

A second commented; “Nigella…bananas…standard”. 

While a third, focusing more on the seductive beats than the bananas, added: “I have to mute Nigella because my neighbours think I’m watching 70s porn due to the music”. 

Other viewers seemed to miss the saucy references but didn’t fancy the recipe one bit, with one calling it “weird” and another simply asking: “Oh Nigella, why?”
