MEENA Jutla prepares for a final showdown as her trial for murder looms on the horizon.

1. Manpreet makes a move
After being held hostage by her sister Meena (played by Paige Sandhu), Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) made the decision to stay silent.
She thus refused to testify against the criminal – much to Liam Cavanagh’s dismay.
She has recently reconsidered her stance and decides to take the stand.
The village GP enlists Ethan Anderson’s (Emile John) help to get her testimony ready, determined to shatter Meena’s defence.

Coming up, however, Manpreet knows her sister is up to something when she finds out Wendy has been called as a witness for the defence.
Manpreet and Wendy are worried about taking the stand and discuss the pressure of their roles in the upcoming trial.
2. Meena prepares for her trial
Manpreet and Wendy are right to act with caution.
Known for her manipulative tactics, Meena isn’t admitting defeat just yet and is ready to put yet another evil plan into action.
While Manpreet braces herself for the defence’s interrogation, Meena sweet talks her prison officer.
Her charm offensive pays off when the latter slips her a chocolate bar and a smuggled newspaper.
Meena is pleased to see herself on the front cover of the newspaper, knowing she has been captivating everyone’s attention.
She gets all fired-up when she hears that Manpreet will be testifying against her, which leads to her making the decision to give another show-stopping performance in court.
Meena impatiently waits to face her sister during her trial, ready to humiliate her in public.
3. Kim fights for Millie
As many villagers prepare to see Meena getting the comeuppance she deserves for her crimes, Kim Tate (Claire King) and her family get ready for another celebration.
More than a month after Dawn Taylor’s wedding to Billy Fletcher, the businesswoman’s family will be attending Thomas’ christening.
His mother Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is planning the event.
But drama soon shakes things up at Home Farm.
This week, Kim is initially thrilled to see she has convinced Hazel to bring Millie, her granddaughter, to the christening.
However, when Millie is said to be too poorly to attend the christening, Kim is fuming.
Suspicious of Hazel’s intentions, Kim prepares to battle Gabby to delay the christening for when Millie’s recovered.
The young mother won’t be going Kim’s way.
4. Gabby gets a shock
The arguments create a new budding feud in the Dales as Kim and Gabby are caught in a tumultuous debate by Lydia and Will.
Both women continue to argue over the date of Thomas’ christening.
However, they come to an agreement about holding the christening for the following day.
Gabby has an extra surprise for Kim as she sets off for an unknown destination.
The day of the ceremony arrives – but Gabby has a huge shock.
Could she reach out to Kim’s son Jamie, who also happens to be the father of her son Thomas?
While he was presumed dead, Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) was actually revealed to be alive earlier this year – leading fans to believe his storyline could be developed later in 2022.
5. Nate and Chloe get together
Meanwhile, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) tries all he can to cope with his daughter Frankie’s absence – but makes a huge mistake.
Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) is left worried when she finds Nate and Ryan Stocks drunk in the middle of the day together.
The pair get drunker as the day goes on and things get a little out of hand when Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) shows up in the pub.
Nate and Chloe get cosy and the youngster spends the night with the farmer.
In the morning he is left mortified by his actions.
He dodges Chloe’s numerous attempts at spending more time together.
When the teen flirtatiously teases him at Butlers Farm, later on, Nate lets his anger out and snaps at her.
He becomes more worried and frustrated when Chloe enquires about working on the farm.
Nate firmly rejects Chloe’s advances, insisting that things between them have gone too far already.
But will she accept?

6. Vanessa gets a new love interest
After ruining a cake she was carrying, Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) spends more time with newcomer Suzy.
This is despite nearly kissing her former fiancée Charity, following the latter’s feuding with Chas Dingle over The Woolpack.
This week, both Vanessa and Suzy share a flirty interaction.
Vanessa manages to secure a dinner with Suzy – and is secretly pleased.
How will Charity react?
Could Vanessa be involved in a new relationship, months after her return to the eponymous village?
7. Al betrays Belle
Following her boyfriend Ellis Chapman’s departure, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has been focusing on her work at the B&B.
But in upcoming scenes, she voices her dissatisfaction and begins to dream bigger for herself.
Scheming businessman Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), on the other, receives another job rejection and he grows more desperate.
Involved in all the Woolpack drama, Al wants a fresh start and begins to pay a little too much attention to Belle’s ideas.
