Shock double Coronation Street exit as Stephen Reid plans new life in Thailand

Stephen Reid comes up with a plan to move to Thailand

Stephen Reid is ready to take his relationship with Jenny Connor to the next level, but he's also trying to escape justice before it's too late. The Coronation Street serial killer has come up with a plan to whisk Jenny away to Thailand. The question is, will they actually leave Weatherfield behind?

Will Jenny really go through with it?

Jenny Connor, portrayed by Sally Ann Matthews, is faced with a big decision. With the Rovers shutting down and the end of an era, Jenny considers starting fresh away from the cobbles. Her new boyfriend Stephen Reid, played by Todd Boyce, suggests a move to Thailand. Although Jenny can see the appeal of living there permanently, she thinks it's just a pipedream. Instead, she suggests a holiday. But Stephen knows just how to persuade her.

Stephen's secrets are slowly unravelling

While all odds seem to be working against him, Stephen eventually gets Jenny to come around to the idea of moving to Thailand. Carla Connor, played by Alison King, begins to suspect that Stephen is not who he seems to be. When she discovers traces of LSD in her hair sample, Carla believes Stephen is responsible. She confronts him and vows to prove it. Sarah Platt, portrayed by Tina O'Brien, also becomes suspicious of Stephen's true intentions.

As Stephen's secrets continue to unravel, Carla, Sarah, and other residents of Weatherfield are determined to uncover the truth about him. What actions will Stephen take to protect himself? Will Carla be able to bring him to justice on her own?
