Although the boys have been used to seeing Molly back in the Love Island villa, the girls were in for a shock as she popped up after Casa Amor.
A source said: “The girls – especially Kady and Jess – were not expecting to see Molly return so when she walked back in, jaws were on the floor.
“Apart from one girl, who had no idea it was Molly until she was told to by Maya Jama. She was floored!
“It was one of the most shocking moments of the series as Molly is back to settle old scores in the villa.
The source added: “She’s seen what people were saying behind her back …”
This comes as hundreds of Love Island viewers have complained to Ofcom after a controversial U-turn.
A total of 372 complaints were filed to the TV regulator on June 30 over Molly Marsh’s Casa Amor return.
Molly was dumped from the villa by bombshell Kady McDermott, 27, leaving her heartbroken about leaving love interest Zachariah Noble, 25.
In a rare move by producers, Molly was brought back – despite having returned to the “normal world” back in the UK.
Molly, 21, turned up alongside the other Casa Amor girls to shock Zachariah.
Fans have been disgruntled over the “unfairness” – insisting the rules should have been changed for the Islander.
Others claim she has taken up the space of other hopefuls.
An Ofcom spokesman said: “Complaints related to contestant Molly Marsh being reintroduced to Casa Amor having been eliminated from the programme the previous week.”
