What happened?
Hollyoaks actress Lucy Jo Hudson took to Instagram to share a series of photos documenting a recent medical emergency involving her three-year-old son, Carter. The montage shows the toddler lying on a hospital bed, capturing the "crazy" moment when the child went from being normal to requiring a visit to A&E. Hudson expressed her relief that her son is now back to his normal self.
A rollercoaster of emotions
Reflecting on the incident, Hudson highlighted the ups and downs of motherhood, mentioning how just moments before the hospital visit, her son had been on stage performing in a Christmas show. She asked her followers to share their own experiences to reassure her that she is not alone in this whirlwind of emotions.
Previous health scares
This is not the first time that Lucy Jo Hudson has had to deal with medical emergencies involving her children. In July, she documented a dash to the hospital when her son "stopped breathing." However, last month it was Hudson herself who found herself in the hospital due to her own health issues. After receiving two blood transfusions for a mystery illness, she was diagnosed with chronic anaemia.
