Who was Fatboy in EastEnders?
Ricky Norwood rose to fame playing the character of Fatboy in the long-running soap opera EastEnders. In his recent appearance on the show, fans were treated to a flashback scene featuring his character alongside Cindy Beale, portrayed by Michelle Collins. Fatboy was the ex-husband of Mercy Chubb and the son of Ashley Chubb. His memorable debut on the show was at a party hosted by Cindy's late daughter Lucy Beale in 2010.
Fatboy's Tragic Fate
Fatboy's time in EastEnders was filled with dramatic storylines and a chaotic love life. He also provided support to Dot Cotton after the death of her son Nick. However, in 2015, Fatboy became embroiled in a deadly feud, which ultimately led to his demise. After being threatened with violence against Dot, Fatboy agreed to flee and had a final confrontation with Vincent Hubbard. Unfortunately, he was killed by Ronnie Mitchell's hitmen on Christmas Day that year when his body was discovered in the boot of a car.
A Surprise Return for Ricky Norwood
