SOUTHERN Charm star Kathryn Dennis was all smiles when she enjoyed a day at the aquarium with her children.
The mom-of-two has been open about recently ‘losing custody of them to ex Thomas Ravenel.’
Kathryn shared a series of snaps of her with her children, Kensington and Saint at the aquarium.
She posed with Saint holding a cutout fish as well as with his head in a tarantula photo stand-in.
Kathryn captioned the pics: “The smiles of children are the best kind there are
#aquariumadventure & moms search for #hunkydory #rhobh #crocgame.”
Earlier this month, Kathryn slammed the “family court system” as “exhausting” after her ex Thomas Ravenel won full custody over their two children.
The Southern Charm star lost her rights after her ex accused her of drug abuse and neglect.
Kathryn took to her Instagram stories on Thursday to share a scathing post directed at the “family court system.”
“It is exhausting to constantly defend yourself from someone who is trying to change reality – it can even make you question what you know happened, or what is true,” the post began.
“It can be exhausting to live two lives: one for your children and for the world (everything is fine), and the other where you are beaten down by the family court system.
“We see you and we stand with you. You are not alone,” the message finished.
Thomas recently shared a snap of his and Kathryn’s six-year-old daughter, Kensington, sitting on a bench by the window and looking at her iPad captioned: “So thrilled to have my daughter in our new home.”
The dad also shared a video of Kensie and their four-year-old son, Saint, running and jumping into the Aiken, South Carolina home’s backyard pool as they screamed: “Best Daddy!”
The Celeb Report previously revealed Kathryn temporarily lost custody of their two children, as she now has supervised visitation every other weekend.
A source claimed to The Celeb Report: “She has supervised visitation during the day Saturday and Sunday every other weekend.”
The insider continued that Thomas plans to move to Aiken with the children this summer, as he proposed his plan to the judge when requesting full custody.
The Celeb Report confirmed the temporary order was filed by the court on February 25 after a hearing took place on February 9.
Kathryn filed a motion to seal the custody battle on December 18.
Her request was approved, a clerk for the South Carolina courthouse previously confirmed to The Celeb Report.
With the temporary order under seal, reasons for the custody loss are not available.
A rep and lawyer for Kathryn declined to respond to The Celeb Report’s request for comment at the time.
The Celeb Report broke Thomas’ request to change their custody agreement from joint to primary custody, as he cited Kathryn’s alleged drug abuse and neglect.
In South Carolina court records obtained by The Celeb Report, Thomas claimed a mutual friend told him about a recent trip he took to North Carolina with Kathryn, her boyfriend Chleb Ravenell, Kensie, Saint and others.
Thomas claimed the friend said: “He informed me that he witnessed a lot of cocaine use during this trip and that Kathryn had left cocaine within grasp of the children, which he thought was dangerous.”
Kathryn alleged in her court response: “I do not use cocaine so naturally I have not left any out for our children to access.”
She also agreed to take a drug test as long as Thomas “pays for it and takes one as well.”
Kathryn previously lost full custody of the children in 2016 and entered rehab after she tested positive for marijuana.
In 2018, Kathryn filed for primary custody of the kids after Thomas was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the second degree.
The couple’s former nanny, Dawn, accused him of sexual assault in 2018.
Thomas pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and battery charges. He received a 30-day suspended sentence and was ordered to pay a $500 fine.
