SPIDER-MAN 3 is well underway and it is set to reunite THREE of the franchise’s leading men (we hope).
That’s right, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield AND Tom Holland are all tipped to play Peter Parker in the new movie.
When is Spider-Man 3 released on Netflix?
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Spider-Man 3 has been delayed, but we do have a date for you.
Originally scheduled for a July 16, 2021, it was first pushed back to November 5, 2021 and will now hit cinemas on December 17, 2021.
Filming kicked off in October 2020.
We don’t have a confirmed title for the third film just yet, but producer Amy Pascal has confirmed that that it will have the word “home” in it somewhere, as did the previous two outings.
Who’s in the cast of Spider-Man 3?
So far only a few names have been confirmed for this collabaration.
But the good news is – they are BIG names.
As mentioned, the movie will hopefully see all three Spider-Man actors reunite on screen for the first time – and will ALL play Peter Parker.
Tom Holland
Tom is the current Spider-Man, and will return for the untitled third Spider-Man film as the titular wall-crawler.
The 24-year-old has had a meteoric rise to fame since landing the role back in 2016.
Since then he has starred in FIVE Marvel films
Andrew Garfield
Much like Tom, Andrew hit the big time when he landed the role of Spider-Man.
He played the superhero for two films from 2012 until 2014 and has now been confirmed for the 2021 film.
Andrew is also well known for starring in the Facebook film The Social Network.
Tobey Maguire
Tobey is reportedly still in talks for his reprisal of his career-defining role.
Should it go through, he will be in good company as on-screen love Kirsten Dunst is also confirmed to return as Mary Jane Watson, .
Tobey made the role famous when he played Peter Parker in the first trilogy from 2002 until 2007.
Other cast confirmed to return includes:

What is Spider-Man 3 about?
So far confirmed plot details are few and far between right now.
Fans think the return of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange will see him potentially guiding Peter Parker through the multiverse as a mentor.
The film should also resolve the cliffhanger ending of Far from Home, which saw Peter Parker unmasked as Spider-Man and framed as a murderer.
