Strictly star hints at split with toyboy boyfriend saying she hasn’t seen him ‘in months’

STRICTLY star Shirley Ballas has hinted that she’s split from her toyboy boyfriend.

The 62-year-old confessed that she hasn’t seen Danny Taylor, 50, ‘in months’.

Back in January 2019, The Celeb Report exclusively revealed that Shirley was dating Danny after they met during rehearsals for Jack And The Beanstalk.

Since then the Strictly head judge has implied that she was ready for him to put a ring on her finger.

But recently it seems that things have changed.

Shirley said: “The only pressure I felt was my own — it was me who was rushing to get married.

“Then things changed last year — my mum moved in and Danny’s not in a place to get married.

“We’re good as we are. We both travel, so I haven’t seen him for months, but we’re good friends and that works.”

Shirley previously opened up about how they first met on Loose Women.

She said: “We met on panto as friends. It didn’t really take off until March… for him. I fell in love way before… I think for me it was first sight,” she said.

“He was going through a difficult time in his relationship.

“We did become friends and then probably in about February I said, ‘I love you Danny’ and he said, ‘I know’. It took a while.”

Then in September 2019 she said that Danny was ‘The One’.

Shirley has previously been married to Sammy Stopford and Corky Ballas.
