STRICTLY viewers were shocked to see two female pro dancers left without celebrity partners after last night’s launch show.
Luba Mushtuk and newcomer Jowita Prytzal will occupy the reserves bench this year.
Save for any unfortunate pro drop outs, the pair will be only appear in the group numbers.
In the opening routine to Donna Summer’s disco classic I Feel Love, Luba stunned in a golden outfit as she sashayed across the dance floor.
While The Greatest Dancer champion Jowita showed off her skills with Cameron Lombard as Anne-Marie performed her single Kiss My (Uh-Oh).
Viewers were disappointed to see the pair empty-handed for the series.
One wrote on Twitter: “#Strictly No Luba celeb partnership.”
Another posted: “Lovely Luba and Jowita benched then for this year #Strictly.”
A third said: “Gutted Jowita doesn’t have a partner on @bbcstrictly best dancer by far!! #Strictly.”
Last year Luba was paired with retired American football star Jason Bell.
While before this series, Jowita told the BBC: “This is my biggest dream come true.
“No words can describe how I feel right now.
“I’m still pinching myself to check if this is real but I am beyond excited to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing family and I can’t wait to give all of my heart and soul on that dance floor!”
