The Chase’s Bradley Walsh open-mouthed at player’s bizarre tactic he has ‘never seen in 11 years’

THE Chase’s Bradley Walsh was left open-mouthed at a player’s bizarre tactic he had ‘never seen in 11 years’.

On Monday’s edition of the ITV quiz show, contestant Katrina took on Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett.

Bradley Walsh was left open-mouthed on The Chase after a contestant did something no one else has ever done

Katrina had earned just £1,000 in her Cash Builder and then The Beast offered her a low offer of minus £4,000 and a whopping £55,000.

Katrina immediately dismissed the low offer and had to decide between the top and mid offers.

She opted to use the popular children’s rhyme of ‘Ip Dip Do’ to help her make her decision, which stunned Bradley, 60.

He said with a laugh: “That’s never happened in 11 years! Someone’s ip dipped it!”

The move cracked Bradley up

Mark replied: “There’s nothing you can say about that.”

Bradley added: “So clever! I love it. You’re great fun.”

Katrina ended up selecting the £1,000 but she was still caught by Mark and failed to make it through to the Final Chase.

However some viewers think Katrina might have jinxed herself as she ended the rhyme with “out goes you” instead of “I choose you”.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Ip dip doo… out goes you! Bye Katrina!”

Another added: “Out goes you/I choose you. She threw the result there #TheChase!”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
