The Chase’s Bradley Walsh walks off set after warning contestant on Celebrity Special

THE Chase’s Bradley Walsh walked off set after a warning contestant on Sunday’s Celebrity Special.

The 60-year-old host welcomed celebrities Giles Coren, Rachel Johnson, Chris Packham and Josie Long on to the ITV quiz show.

Food critic Giles was up first and secured an impressive £8,000 in the cash builder.

Chaser Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha offered him a high amount of £40,000, which Giles decided to go for.

At one point, a question about mood boards came up, and Giles slammed the answer in with excitement.

When Bradley asked why he chose the answer – which turned out to be correct – Giles suddenly struck a finger gun pose and replied: “Cause I was in the mood!”

It was a celebrity edition of the show

Bradley pulled a face and walked away from him across the set

With an unimpressed look on his face, Bradley turned around and started to walk off the set.

He headed over to the other contestants and said: “None of your dance moves here son. Can’t be doing that!”

Giles replied: “Oh that? That is not a dance move.”

Viewers loved the humorous moment, while others were impressed by Giles’ knowledge.

One wrote on Twitter: “Giles should be a chaser #TheChase”.

Another added: “Get #TheChase on. Giles Coren’s on it and you gotta love him, right? Get it on. You won’t regret it.”

Sadly, his efforts were in vein as in the final chase, Paul caught the three celebrities who had made it through with just two seconds to spare, snatching their £45,000 prize away from them in the process.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
