BROTHERS Oliver and Zac Barker played George Crawley on Downtown Abbey for two seasons, a Christmas special and the big screen adaption.
Now seven years on from the final series, the duo, who are actually triplets, are all grown up.
The brothers were cast to play Matthew Crawley and Lady Mary Talbot’s son George in season five as the toddler grew up around Highclere Castle.
They went on to star in the ITV drama’s sixth and final season, as well as the 2015 Christmas Special and reprised their roles in the 2019 Downtown Abby film.
Their mum Clare regularly shares updates on the boys on Instagram under the handle @barkertriplets alongside their sister Megan.
Aside from their adventures, she also posts a plethora of throwback shots of the 10-year-olds on set with their former co-stars Michelle Doherty, Hugh Bonneville and Allen Leech.
While it’s unclear if the boys will appear in sequel, Downton Abbey: A New Era, in April, Oliver and Zac have previously starred in another big budget film.
The pair played a young Charlie Hunnam in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword in 2017 alongside Jude Law.
Previously, The Celeb Report revealed that a top Downton Abbey character is to be killed off in the film sequel.
Tear-jerking scenes for the follow-up to the hit 2019 movie are now under lock and key.
A source said writer Julian Fellowes “has made this death so poignant.”
They added: “Those who have seen the scenes said they are so emotional.
“They really will leave fans in floods. It’s heartbreak at Highclere Castle and there won’t be a dry eye in cinemas.”
No clues have been given as to who is making their final appearance.
But fans will be fearing for the aging Dowager Countess, played by Dame Maggie Smith.
Other favourites possibly in the line of fire include Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), the Countess of Grantham (Elizabeth McGovern), Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery), or butler Carson (Jim Carter).
The ITV period drama ended its TV run in 2015 after six series.
The first film then took £140million round the world.
