FANS have been left fuming at the result of The One Show’s latest in-show competition – with some even branding it a ‘fix’.
The BBC One magazine programme held a contest to find the perfect dish to be served in homes up and down the nation as part of the King’s Coronation celebrations.

Chefs from two of the Beeb’s biggest shows – MasterChef and Great British Menu – once again were locked in another cookery contest as they vowed to come out on top.
Regular hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas were joined by ex-Bake Off judge Mary Berry who cast her expert eye over the dishes being created.
The aim of the contest was to “brings neighbours and communities together to share friendship, food and fun,” for the King’s Coronation weekend.
However, when the winner was reveled, many fans were left seriously unimpressed.
They labelled the show a ‘fix’ and insisted that the winning dish was “sloppy” and unworthy of a prize.
Winning the contest was Adam Handling, the winner of this year’s Great British Menu and previous star of MasterChef: The Professionals.
His dish was a chicken pie, but many were left insisting that another dish should have won.
Writing online, one fan moaned: “Absolute fix that chicken pie was sloppy. The fried chicken sarnie with mango was epic. !!”
Another said: “You know I’m just not feeling it.”
A third slammed the programme as they added: “Well that was disorganised chaos … and the winner distinctly underwhelmed. And certainly not cooking that!”
While even more viewers were left stunned and taken aback by the simplicity of the dish and its lack of originality.
One fumed: “It’s a big pie with chicken. How did he think of that?”
Someone else simply penned: “Chicken pie?!?”
However, it was not all doom and gloom for Adam and his meal offering as some fans went onto congratulate the TV chef on his win.
One amusingly said: “Winner winner, Chicken Pie for dinner.”
“Congratulations #AdamHandling,” wrote another.
