THE One Show’s Alex Jones couldn’t help but take a cheeky swipe at her co-host Ronan Keating on live TV.
The Welsh presenter took a savage music career swipe at Ronan just minutes into the show.

Ronan went along with the joke and looked gutted as Alex teased him on live TV
Before having a go at broadcasting Ronan was a member of Boyzone, one of the biggest boybands ever.
But his co-host Alex doesn’t seem to be impressed by this and used the opportunity to throw in the mix – a subtle dig.
As Alex introduced the celebrity guests on Thursday’s show, which included Take That singer Mark Owen, Country popstar Shania Twain and veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby, she teased Ronan.
She said: “He’s one third of one of the biggest boybands of all time…” before looking over at Ronan, and taking a cheeky swipe as he looked excited.
Alex looked away from Ronan and cheekily said: “Take That,” while giggling.
Alex then started giggling before adding: “Mark Owen is here to tell us why he’s once again venturing out on his own.”
Ronan played along with the joke, and didn’t look too happy at his co-hosts joke before continuing with the show.
Mark was there to plug his new tour and his upcoming album, Land of Dreams, which is set for release at the end of September.
This comes after Mark Owen revealed in June, that a Take That reunion is “in the works” and “fans just need a little patience”.
The singer assured fans that the reunion would be going ahead and the band have been meeting up recently.
“We talked about how we would do it. When you get to our point, at this stage in your career, it’s about making the right record,” he explained to Guilty Pleasures.
Mark added: “That happened with (2008’s) The Circus. The first song we wrote was Greatest Day, which set the theme for the rest. You can’t rush those things.
Mark said the band are “writing songs” and thinking about how “the live production works or a moment within the show.”
Alex and Ronan also spoke to David who reflected on his broadcasting career and Shania Twain who opened up about her new music, love of TikTok and filming the new series of ITV’s Starstruck.
Take That’s Mark Owen also appeared on the show
Mark Owen was on the show to promote his new tour and his upcoming album, Land of Dreams, which is set to be released later this month
