Gino D’Acampo has hit back at trolls after he was criticised for posting pictured of himself giving his daughter a kiss on the lips.
The Italian chef, 45, regularly posts updates of family life, sharing lots of selfies with his youngest child, Mia.
Gino and wife Jessica have three children together, sons Luciano, 19, Rocco, 16, and daughter Mia, nine.
The TV star is known for being outspoken, and the endless horrible comments under his posts about the affection he shows his youngest has spurred him on to wind them up even more.
Taking to his Twitter account, where he boasts an impressive 1.8 million followers, Gino hit back at the trolls.
He posted two images of himself and Mia, one of them candidly laughing at one another, and another snap of him giving her a peck on the lips.
Gino addressed the comments he had received, referring to those who left them as “haters”, telling them to “get a life”.
He wrote: “To all the haters out there……yes I still kiss my principessa on the lips, get over it and get a life….. GDx”
The comments flooded in under the post, with many rushing to share their opinions.
One said: “That’s fine if you kiss your daughter on the lips but you really can’t complain if you chose to post the photos on social media.
“People will have an opinion and if you don’t want to see that.”
They added: “Keep your photos private.”
Another Twitter user wrote in support of Gino: “Always gave my mum a kiss on her lips until she passed away.
“You don’t have to justify your relationship with your lovely daughter to anyone.”
The supportive messages continued: “The fact you even have to post something like this is weird – the world is going mad!!
“My boy is 11 I kiss him every night before he goes to sleep, i do it because i bloody love him and he loves me back!
“It is part of our biology and something we search for from a baby!”
