NETFLIX has announced the release date for season four of the hit drama Top Boy.
With the new series quickly approaching, here’s a look at the locations the show was filmed in.
Where is Top Boy filmed?
Top Boy starring Bulletproof star Ashley Walters and Blue Story star Michael Ward is set in the area of East London.
The show is filmed and centred on the fictional Summerhouse estate in Hackney, East London.
Many of the outdoor scenes were also shot in the Hackney area which has seen an aesthetic update since the show began in 2011.
The new series will also give its international viewers insight into other areas around London.
Fans can expect to see locations such as Walworth Academy in Southwark and Whipps Cross hospital in Leytonstone featured in season four.
The nightlife scenes will take place in luxurious locations in Chelsea and gritter scenes will be seen in a particular snooker hall get-togethers in Stoke Newington, North London.
With the previous season featuring scenes in Jamaica, Manchester and Margate, fans can expect to see the stars travel out of London once again.
Top Boy season four features scenes under the sun in both Spain and Morocco.
When is Top Boy on Netflix and where can I watch it?
Top Boy season four (Top Boy 2 as named on Netflix) will air exclusively in Netflix.
The series will premiere on March 18, 2022.
The new series will consist of eight intense episodes with almost all of the previous cast members returning.
Canadian rapper Drake was responsible in bringing the hit drama back on screens.
Series one and two can be streamed on Netflix under the name Top Boy: Summerhouse.
The third series is titled Top Boy on Netflix and the fourth series will go by the name of Top Boy 2.
It is has not been confirmed whether or not this will be the final series of Top Boy.
