A TOWIE star has quit the show and won’t be appearing in the current series.
The Only Way Is Essex returned with a bang earlier this month with the cast jetting off to the Dominican Republic.
Chloe’s mum Clare will not appear in the new series
The star confirmed the news during an Instagram Q&A
While Chloe Brockett‘s future on the show was initially in doubt after her nightclub brawl with co-star Ella Rae Wise earlier this year, she is part of the current line-up.
But one person who will not be on the show is her mum Clare who first appeared in 2019.
During an Instagram Q&A this week Chloe, 21, was asked: “Will your mum appear in Towie?”
Chloe replied: “Not this series… she doesn’t like being involved in the drama anymore! X.”

During the same interaction with fans Chloe was asked for her thoughts on the current situation involving Ella, 22, after she claimed that Dan Edgar, 32, “touched her inappropriately” behind his girlfriend Amber Turner’s back.
Scenes about it have aired on the reality show over the past two weeks.
One fan asked Chloe: “Thoughts on the current Towie drama?”
Chloe said: “I think it’s quite obvious that the whole situation has been completely fabricated..
“People know not to believe everything they hear.
“I’ve had loads of messages asking me if I film with a certain person this series, and the answer is I don’t..
“I think it’s really important to protect your own peace… Sorry to disappoint guys.”
