TV legend to have voice recreated by AI for new chat show podcast

SIR Michael Parkinson's iconic voice will live on in a new chat show podcast, thanks to Artificial Intelligence.

Son's approval

Michael Parkinson's son has given the green light to the project, which aims to use AI to bring his father's distinctive voice back to life for interviews with famous personalities.

Keeping his memory alive

An insider revealed, "Using AI in this unique way will ensure that the legacy of Parky, known for his skill in interviewing celebrities, will be preserved and celebrated."

TV legacy

Sir Michael Parkinson, a proud Yorkshireman, passed away last August at the age of 88 after a brief illness. He was renowned for hosting the TV talk show "Parkinson" from 1971 to 1982 and then again from 1998 to 2007, along with other chat shows both in the UK and abroad.

Interviewed the biggest stars

Throughout his career, Parkinson had the opportunity to interview some of the world's most renowned celebrities, including Bing Crosby, Bette Davis, Muhammad Ali, Helen Mirren, and Billy Connolly.

Memorable moments

Aside from his interviews, Parkinson was also known for his memorable TV moments, such as the confrontation with Rod Hull and his puppet Emu in 1976 and his famously frosty exchange with actress Meg Ryan in 2003.
