THE United Kingdom have been humiliated at Eurovision – with James Newman getting ZERO points from the public and the juries.
Britain was the only country to not pick up a single point and came dead last in the competition.
Meanwhile, Italy and its act Måneskin took the title with their song Zitti E Buoni.
Lorraine Kelly was among the first to offer her condolences, tweeting: “Poor poor James – wasn’t the best song but absolutely not the worst.”
Jack Whitehall wrote: “If the Corona Virus entered an act they’d get more points than the UK.”
Graham Norton, who commentated the coverage for the BBC said: “A disappointing show for the UK.
“Disappointing is putting it mildly. I’m trying to put a positive spin on it. I feel so sorry for James.”
After the announcement, winners Måneskin took to the stage and roared: “We want to say to the world: rock’n’roll never dies.”
