VIEWERS have been left baffled after a BBC newsreader signed off a bulletin in a very unexpected way last night.
Those tuning in to watch the news were left in shock as the presenter told fans at home they were a “good boy”.

BBC viewers were left laughing when Look North host Amanda Harper made a slip up when trying to say “goodbye” to fans.
Looking smart, the TV star was seen reading out the daily bulletin before encouraging fans to tune in again the following morning.
But as Amanda, who is married to Look North health correspondent Jamie Coulson, tried to say goodbye, she slipped up.
“Well that is all from us tonight,” she told fans watching at home. “Look North is back on BBC Breakfast from 6:25. Good boy.”
As the camera faded out, Amanda looked to have realised her mistake – while fans took to social media in hysterics.
It comes after BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent was flooded with support as she returns to the show after splitting from her husband.
The BBC presenter is said to be ‘devastated’ after splitting from her businessman husband Gavin Hawthorn, 52.
Gavin is believed to have moved out of the £1.4million Cheshire home he shares with Sally.
However, despite her turmoil, she joined her co-host as usual on the red sofa for this morning’s show.
Sally was stoic as she brought viewers the latest news from around the country with Jon Kay, looking stunning in a white dress.
BBC Breakfast fans were delighted to see Sally on their screens and took to social media to offer their support to the star.
Sally and her estranged husband have one son together, who she keeps firmly out of the limelight.
Speaking about their split, a friend of the couple told The Mail: “It’s very sad but they are no longer together.
“I think they tried to tough it out for quite a while as they didn’t want to split up if they could possibly help it for the sake of their son but they clearly couldn’t make a go of it.
“They’ve both been very guarded about the reasons behind their growing apart but it’s been plain for a while that they had been and now it’s obvious that they haven’t been able to resolve that despite clearly trying for some time.”
